Stanley Cup Playoffs, Night 22

Just one game tonight. And it was a doozy. The Anaheim Ducks became the first team to advance to the third round of these playoffs by eliminating the Canucks in five games. What's bad for the 'Nucks is great for the Ducks. I'm sad to say I missed the majority of this game. I bet it was a good one.

Ducks 2, Canucks 1, 2OT
Ducks win series 4-1
Wow, five games only. And the Ducks are in the conference finals once again. Anaheim got the first lead of the game 14 seconds into the second period from Samuel Pahlsson. Alex Burrows notced the equalizer halfway into the third. It led to overtime. Then to double-overtime (naturally). It was four-and-a-half minutes into that fifth period that the Ducks stole the series from Canucks. Scott Niedermayer made it happen on a bummer of a play for Vancouver. And now it's over. I watched the extra time on Versus (but not in hi-def, as it was Thursday).
