ABC Announces Official Fall Lineup

The ABC fall schedule is officially here! Prepare to be impressed! Count them — eleven new shows! They picked nearly every show I did (plus some). So I'm rather happy with the new fall schedule. But if you don't believe me, get it straight from the horse's mouth.

I only have one nitpick on the schedule. The lack of "The Thick Of It" bums me out. That was a half-hour comedy from the producers and creator of "Arrested Development" — one of the funniest shows ever made. I'm guessing it didn't stand up to the quality of "Arrested" but that would surprise me. I'd really like to at least see the pilot and judge for myself. But that's just me.

Aside from that, it's a good one — the schedule, I mean. They pretty much picked up everything, but that's how they roll. You can do that when you have lots of money and bunches of hit shows. Must be nice to be ABC. I think my predictions turned out all right. I'll do a little inventory later in the week or next week.
