This Isn't Looking Good...
I've just come across what appears to be the Capitals' new uniform and logo. Just so you know, they aren't scheduled to officially unveil until Friday so this could very well be someone having fun with Photoshop... but whatever the case, say it ain't so.

It's ridiculous. Cap fans -- long time ones -- like going back to that uniform style (the text, the red white and blue -- but I seriously think it looks disgusting (the logo). The last two uniforms -- as much as traditionalists may have despised them -- both had better logos.
Amen to that, brother. Seriously, I was beginning to wonder whether I was the only person on the planet who liked the blue and bronze. But I'm not a Caps fan so I don't get a say.
Being a life long caps fans, I'm glad to see this change. I love the new jerseys. As much as I love the last 2, nothing says Washington better than Red, White, and Blue. It's a modernized version of the original. The eagle on the shoulders also looks great. The whole uniform make them look like American Gladiators. Hopefully, they can take that change to the ice and give us a winning team again. The Red, White, and Blue ... it's the way it should be!

I know I shouldn't be passing judgment on it since I'm not a fan of the team, but I couldn't help myself. I have to give you credit though. To some extent I can see the red, white and blue being inherent for a D.C. team, I just thought the blue and bronze made for a creative and unique combination.
As long as the Washington fans like it though, that's what's important. Anyway, thanks for reading and I'll be sure to check out your blog.
